It is a very comprehensive learning programme for learning, reading and writing
Unless one had a touch screen computer, it does require a child to have good mouse control
My 4 year old granddaughter is having a bit of a problem recognising some of her phonic sounds so when I was asked to review Reading Eggs I thought that it would help her. This site offers a free trial and once I had registered I realised that there was so much on offer that it would take me a while to understand how to use this programme to its full potential. Each letter has at least 8 lessons which involves recognising the letter and its sound, seeing the letter in words, singing a song, making a sound book and so on. It also gives the child the opportunity to play it again, which is invaluable for young learners. I also liked the way it revisited previously learnt letters and linked each letter to its capital letter. It really is a very comprehensive programme of learning phonics, and I can understand why it is so popular with parents and teachers. I think that as a grandparent I would invest in this programme if my grandchild was struggling to read at school and we were able to use it at least 3 times a week. It really does support all learners in a lively and interactive way. I would also recommend its use with a touch screen computer as I would actively want to encourage my grandchild to do the lesson independently. To claim your 5 WEEK FREE TRIAL enter code UKF24GRN on your parent dashboard.
