Milton combi microwave or cold water Sterilizer

Versatile unit in that it gives you the choice of Milton tablet in water or Microwave method
Does not hold as many bottles as other sterilizers and is heavy when filled with water
I will compare the two methods as the main point of this sterilizer is that it offers 2 methods in one unit and includes a small travel container. Using the Milton tablet method we were pleased to see a starter pack of tablets. We filled the container up as instructed, but filling it up to the top is a pain, and if it then needs moving around, it is unwieldy. It only held 3 Dr Brown bottles which my daughter uses. We didn’t like the strong chlorine smell left on the bottles from the tablet. The solution, once made, lasted 24 hours and the bottles were ready and sterilised in 15 minutes, which is very fast. This method is also energy-saving as no power needed. The microwave method, however was the preferred method with this unit. It is a quick, easy method and safe as no steam is produced which might burn. However, there was no measure line for 200ml to make it easy to fill and measure. Instructions say to place the bottles in upright, but the lid of the unit did not screw on properly when Dr Browns bottles positioned like this. We used Dr Browns bottles but grannies using a different bottle may find that there is more room.
