Baby Bjorn booster chair
Lighweight, sturdy strap, easy to clean
A bit pricey
This smart booster seat is just right for little ones who are graduating to a grown up chair but need extra height to sit there comfortably. The chair sits neatly on the seat of any upright chair and fits little bottoms perfectly. It is easy to carry, lightweight (perfect for picnics and restaurant visits) and has a sturdy strap which is integrated into the chair and released by a knob at the back. It actually looks a little like a booster seat but is described as a chair as it transforms a family dining chair into one suitable for small people. I tested this on two nephews and they were delighted with it as it enables them to be quite grown up and sit properly at the dining table. It is white and very easy to clean with no awkward nooks and crannies to catch pieces of stray food. We also took it on a picnic to the local park and the neat moulded recess at the back of the chair makes carrying it extremely easy. It also means no prickled bottoms from stray twigs and stones while still being able to sit round the picnic cloth. At the table the non slip pads at the base and the securing strap ensure that it stays safely in place. My only caveat is the price. But if you have a bit of cash to spare this can be highly recommended.
