Woolly Mammoth craft packs
An activity for adult and child to enjoy together, arriving in the post
Perhaps a little expensive to have regularly
I was sent 2 kits to complete with my granddaughter. These kits, which arrive twice monthly through the post, are designed for a child to do with an adult. They are designed to be a little too difficult for a child to do alone, as working together is the aim. The kit I am reviewing is the Badge kit, including a story about woolly mammoths, and clear instructions on making the badges, plus colour photos of those others have made. My granddaughter is 3. She was very excited about the pack (as was Grandma) We made the Woolly Mammoth badge, then a pink kitten one of her own design. The kits come with everything you need. An email is sent out before your kit arrives, telling you of anything else you should have to hand, such as PVA glue, child safety scissors etc. I have a lot of craft equipment for my grandchild, but for parents or grandparents new to craft with children these kits would be ideal. There are more of all the bits and bobs than needed to make each item, so you could build up a nice craft supply with the excess! We also completed the Halloween kit, to make 2 bats. This was great fun,and there were enough materials left over to make a wonderful sparkly witch, with the addition of a pair of ‘googly eyes’ from Grandmas box. We loved working on these projects together. Enter code grannynet20 for a 20% discount.
