I found it incredibly easy to put together with its one click action and no stiff catches. After a quick 3-4 hour charge I put it to the test in every room including stairs, carpet, tiles, wood flooring and it...

Noisy, whites needed a scoops of stain remover
The first challenge is to open the egg with a 50p piece. The 2nd challenge is to get the beads into the egg taking great care not to drop them on the floor. This is a worry to me as the white CERAMIC beads are about twice the size of a tic-tac sweet, and could be picked up by a toddler or swallowed by a pet. I found the egg noisy in use as it thumps about in the machine and I made a mistake the first time of putting the machine on at bedtime! Also I am concerned about delicate fabric as it really bangs around in the machine and pummels the washing. They say it continues to work for 72 washes and then needs to be refilled. They the rinse cycle is not needed because you aren’t using laundry detergent, so you can run your machine without using the rinse cycle and save water and electricity. But the rinse cycle does help to wash away the dirty washing water and so I don’t think this is a good idea. I found the coloured washing came out clean but the white washing did need a little help such as a scoop of stain remover. Yes, it does save money and this is a good reason to use it. From an environmental viewpoint there are no chemicals going into the waterways so is also good for septic tanks. And Eco Egg say it is good for sensitive skin.
