We have furniture place in Frinton and they had lots mirrors but none really wanted, too large, wrong colour, trailed the web sites in end ordered one toooo large!! luckily was from Argos, went back today and they kindly let us view 2 and Yippeeeee found one a mosaic round one which I hope will look lovely darling husband trying hang at the moment!!

Have started bit ironing and packing after afternoon rest!! trouble is woke up with headache even worse, VIRUS GO AWAY!!!

I'm having trouble with finding quality placemats. We have some that are over 30 years old and slightly chipped, but they don't make them like they used to.

GJ - the last ones we got were from TK Maxx (they are strutting their stuff in my OH's birthday photo) They're 'proper' ones with cork backing. I'm neurotic about table mats - they have to be cleaned to within an inch of their lives on both sides (can't stand crumbs) so don't last long - this this batch seem to be doing ok. I keep promising myself when we decorate the dining room I'll design my own from a photo - one day!!!

Keep looking - the right placemats are out there somewhere!!!

The good mats were made by a company called Pimpernel, ours have a pic. of the tree of life on them. I wonder if the company still exists. I am sure John Lewis still sell good quality ones. Perhaps they are not modern enough for some people.

Yes I just googled them too. They look just what I'm looking for. I will browse at my leisure later, thank you.
It's going to be hard to make up my mind.
