Default Vegas

2 of my clients went there at start of cruise last year and they loved it! They are sedate ladies coming up for 70! so can`t be that bad.

Feel like the others not very relaxing for a week, ok if going on cruise next like they did.

We off to Fuertuventura for week end March and looking forward to 11 days of relaxation and hopefully sun, canaries quite warm normally and not too long a flight!

hope you enjoying peaceful discussion about it now!!

My son went to Las Vegas last year, (business lol!!) managed couple shows not really asked him much else about it. Hope he did not gamble he is awful with money.

We stopped in Las Vegas many years ago on a family holiday on the West Coast of U.S.A and didn't enjoy it at all. It was busy, noisy, brash and everywhere were casinos and slot machines. You couldn't get from the fron to the back of the hotel without meeting something connected with gambling...usually large Americans with pots full of coins intheir hands ! ( No offence intended !).
Certainly din't make me want to go back there again. Now San Francisco, that's another story. Lots to see and do and abit more sophisticated ! Near to the wineries and the beach too.

Default Pisa

Now I have stopped "mentioning" holidays and just casually wrote some places down and left my notebook in the normal place on the arm of the chair. Today I was driving home from Guildford where I did a school event and the husband rang (he was on his way to work, a rubbish shift 3 - 11pm) and told me to go on his work intranet and look at hotels in Pisa/Tuscany. I think we might be going there - YIPPEE! The one he said about doesn't have a swimming pool and it looks like it only has showers in the bathroom (I HATE showers) but hey! It is a whole lot better than Las Vegas! I will let you know.............

tizzy - Well done on making suggestions so discreetly! Let's hope your OH reads the post about swimming pools.
