Thanks for all your welcome messages it seems as if you all have a lot of fun on here and I can confirm that I am also considered to be a bit of a nutcase by my three daughters but at least we always have something to laugh about (usually about me or something daft I've said or done)

Hi and Welcome from me too.
I have one little grandson, who I look after 3 days a week, but 5 until the end of March.
Early days for you, hope you are close by and get to see her lots.

HI Lynniepoo - don't believe a word that Jean (jjoj) says. She is the one and only nut case, we just give her one of "those" smiles and let her get on with it. Personally I am an exceedingly sensible person who is much maligned in the nut case area. (AND I tell fibs..............)

I have three grandchildren boys aged 5 and 6 and 19 month old pink one. I adore them. I have them for sleepovers at weekends but I still work full time so I cannot have them during the week.

Hello and welcome, Lynne

I have 3 daughters too, and a beautiful granddaughter, aged 2

We have just the right mix of silliness and caring and support here, it's a good place to be

Hello and a big welcome from me, Lynne

Many congratulations on your little GD - I bet she's absolutely beautiful! How much did she weigh? Does she live near you?

I'm gran to two boys aged 8 and 7 and one girl who is just 18 months. I look after GD 2 days a week, and I have to say enjoy every minute. I feel really guilty when DS and DIL are grateful!!! The boys live further away but often come to stay in holidays. We had a sleepover at their house on Sunday and GS1 had put a big 'welcome' sign on our bed, and two cuddly toys for our dogs. Bless him.

btw - I'm in no way to be confused with all the other J's on here! Don't believe them when they say they're not mad. They always say that!!!

Welcome from me too Lynne! I'm a fairly new granny to twins born Dec 19th 2011, boy and a girl! Have been helping my DD out by having them overnight so they can get some sleep! Challenging as I'm not used to interrupted sleep anymore!! Takes me a day to get over it!! Love them to bits tho and they are both smiling and cooing now which makes all the difference!!
Hope you enjoy the forum. They are a friendly crowd. Maybe you'd like to join the book club?
Take care
SG
