Down or feather and down for us but some people are allergic to them. There are some soft fibre filling ones but I have only encountered them on holiday. Can't bear those cheap rubbery one that you can't make any impression on. If you have a J. Lewis near to you they have lovely displays.

Cheap and cheerful here tinker,we like 2 each. I buy new ones every two years. I did buy one of those funny shaped pillows that are supposed to support your neck, but found it very uncomfortable. Get my pillows from Dunholm Mill. Have bought expensive ones many years ago,but when they stain they stain, thats why I buy cheapos.

Default pillow protectors!!

I buy good pillows and always put protectors on the top ones, is a fact that we all dribble while asleep (sounds awful) but pillows do get stained, am a bit of a hygiene freak, but easier to wash protector then pillow!!
I like the fogarty memory pillows think that is what they were!!

however expensive the feather or down ones are the blessed feather escape!! hate that!

just had bottle red wine with other half so could be in muddle!! complemented by lovely sirloin steak!! yummmy!"!

I put white pillowcases on first before the main pillowcase, tried the protectors and didnt like them. Use Mattress protector though.

We recently got a new part memory foam mattress (all foam was too hot!) which is beautifully comfortable, bought it mainly to try to alleviate OH's back problems, (luckily I could sleep on the floor if I had to) but took us ages to find comfy pillows: we tried them all, now have something called "Snuggledown Oriental" which is a box style fairly high pillow as we would otherwise use two. Supposed to be expensive but can be bought much cheaper in TK Max

I belong to the same pillow fraternity as GG and Beth!

I like feather and down best - you can created a customised dent, just right for your head and snuggle down into it! (Sorry, pun not intended), but I always put hollowfill pillows on guest beds in case anyone has asthma or is allergic to feathers.

We've got a memory foam mattress which is the most comfortable I've ever slept on.
