Ours had gripe water when they were babies but two were breast fed and didn't seem to suffer as much as the other
Thinking back to the gripe water then, it was very sugary,I wonder if it is still the same now.We must have given our babies a very sweet tooth !

Had gripe water for DD1 and Merbentyl(?) from the doctor for DD2. Because she was so tiny the colic went on til she was about six months and weighed 12lb. Eventually I learned to lie her on her tummy across my knee whilst patting her back until she brought up the wind. Can remember the heart sink moment when I was told she wouldn't grow out of it at three months as they normally do. Happy days!
