Have had real trouble with you pilates! The best I can come up with is St. Edmund's Pippin - originally grown in Suffolk
Irish peach for Aggie, Plant you can be a Laxton superb if you want or a Garden Royal

JJOJ, still working on yours, there are some crackers out there

OK how did you manage to end up talking about apples...? Getting back to how much or how little we do eat, I was shocked to find that as a minimum I take about 300 cals in biscuits! And I haven't even checked what I nibble in cheese!

Good advice - it seems there are lots of varieties to choose from, NV.

jjoj - I think you could be the apple on a tree in my garden. It's a 'tip bearer' and usually has just one, huge beautifully coloured apple with the most divine flavour you can imagine. I'll check out the name of it! It earns its keep my garden for its entertainment value.

PS - it had 3 apples this year - a veritable feast.
