I am still doing my R.C. chair exercises, I wish she had put three different sitting ones on the CD instead of one and two standing, more vigorous ones. Who knows I might progress to them and pigs might fly.

My latest blog is on the grannynet site. Well done plant keep doing them, you can have a go at the other exercises there should be 2 levels to work at. But if your comfortable doing the chair ones keep at those.I know they are a bit repetative but they really do work. There are 2 fitness DVD's Move it or lose it and Leanne Grose chair exercise DVD'S available on Amazon, hope this helps.

I'm waiting for the all-clear(fingers etc crossed !) on 17th February to get started back at the gym and hopefully, start toning up again. Meantime I'm doing as much walking as I feel able to do but it's at amuch slower pace than it used to be !

Oh dear - total failure so far. But I had planned to start in earnest at the end of this month. I know what I'm like in January - I just want to hibernate! I want to lose a stone.

It is hard to get going this time of year, Jean, I agree!

A friend and I are going to aquafit classes from next week. I haven't been to one for years, although, like Anne, for many years I went twice a week. OH and I plan to do far more walking together, which as she works full time can only be done at weekends at this time of year (if there's time) Lighter nights will make this easier

Can't say I have seriously addressed the 'diet' yet!
