Please make a space for me!
I'm finding it harder and harder to get motivated to get routine jobs done.
Most days I'd like to curl up with a book, potter in the garden, do a jigsaw, play games on the computer, knit, watch rubbish telly, watch musical DVD's ,go shopping etc.etc.etc.rather than get going with any housework.
How I managed to keep up with just the washing and cooking for OH and three lively children is beyond me!
Pros and Cons of being, shall we say, more mature!

Pilates, I think you are describing me. All routine has gone, things will get done eventually. I do the things I enjoy and fit chores around that.

You description of most days Pilates sounds like the perfect retirement.

I'm finding routine jobs hard to get round to as well. Not that I was ever keen, but just lately I find I can accept a deeper layer of dust, and if you tread carefully the floor doesn't sound so crunchy! I made a supreme effort today and swept and washed the floors in our bedroom and 2 bathrooms. I sat down with a cuppa after lunch, intending to do a crossword and woke up at 4.30! I've got GD1 tomorrow so won't be able to do any housework then.

I'd like to sign up for this band of merry women too! I'd also like footstools included when we have our meetings, to go with our big comfy chairs! Maybe those camping chairs that have cup shapes cut into them on one side, and one to take a plate of chocolate biscuits the other! Oh...Oh...and a throw, so we can get really cosy while we have the odd nanny nap!
