Tears Over breakfast and in Lay-bys.
I have no words to express what has been going on over the last 24 hours.
I have heard from so many grandparents, including lots of granddads as well, I have had tears on the phone and relief from grandparents who now know they are not alone. My website got more hits than ever before, from all over the UK, from Northern Island to Edinburgh to Cornwall, I am speechless. Even Israel! A grandad had left me such a moving message on my answer phone, I cried with him. How I wish I could take all this hurt away, from everyone. Once again , thank is not enough, for all of your support. Jane. I am just listening to Brian Macfaddens song "Sorry, Love Daddy.' which is all about non contact,so am off again.

It is an emotional time, but when I hear of all the other problems that grandmothers on here are experiencing today, it is nothing really.

Jane i can type today after i listened to your radio slot yesterday i sobbed my heart out, i thought you were very dignified i realised how lucky i was and i looked at my two having tea hear last night and i couldnt imagine what it would be like to lose contact with them it would tear me apart , you are a very brave lady and i much admire you and your OH for the support you give to others when you are going through your own personal nightmare , much love to you, you are a wonderful person xxxxxxxx

Jane don't forget to take time out for yourself, to make sure you don't take all this extra hurt to heart. Keep it separate from your own. I know this makes you who you are and the caring person you are, but protect yourself, please.

GJ has expressed my thoughts and concerns, too, Jane. Gain strength from knowing how many people you are helping, but don't let their sadness seep into your soul. You're doing a wonderful and very valuable job with dignity and compassion.

echo all these sentiments!
On much smaller scale I find sometimes can wear me down hearing what others have been through so yes please do not let it too deep Jane.
You have such fun to look forward to in very short time!! Lucky girl!!
