Whirly noise.

It is with much sadness that I have to report that my lovely new fire has got to go back.
Driving OH mad because it whirs and whines!!!!!!
Oh well the tiles are nice.

Jane is this a gas "log looking" fire? If so I have to tell you my sister and her husband had one fitted and had the same thing, they had two replacements and finally decided to put up with the whirring noise. I think it is a design fault, at least with my sister's one.

Ours is Electric flame effect and ours does the same its the fan spinny thingy, sometimes when its quiet the sound grates on me its like a whirling buzz

We have an electric flame effect its the fan whirring thats our problem drives you mad ok when tv is on but if you just want to read sends you scatty
