I have just looked at your pictures again Aggie, they are very good.

I would love to have a go at watercolour, bought some paints, paper and a book but didn't get very far. I need to go to a class methinks.

Aggie, you are a very talented artist - those paintings in your gallery are lovely. Lights, hiding and bushels come to mind.

I used to enjoy oils, and liked the fact that I could keep working at something to get it more how I wanted. Then last Christmas I decorated some wooden Christmas tree ornaments my OH had made and loved the depth and intensity of colour you can get with acrylics. They're great for painting onto wood.

You are all very kind I put all the pics in one gallery cos Jean asked about them . I just enjoy painting and card making and knitting .......... beats h.......k any day
Watercolours are really a matter of practising and a good teacher helps . Acrylics are good too , you can use them thick like oils or watered down like watercolours
