Should it be long or short?

Created by Jane Jackson in Jane Jackson's Blog

I am talking about my hair.

I seem to grow it to a certain length and then can’t stand it anymore and have it all cut off. And spend the next 6 weeks wanting it to grow again, oh for goodness sake.

I really resent how much money I have to spend on having it cut, why is it that the men can get theres cut for a fraction of the price we are charged?

After all hair is hair whoevers head it is growing on.

Every time is the same, hairdresser asks what sort of cut I am thinking of, I give a very detailed description ,sometimes even take a picture with me. Of course what I fail to realise, maybe, is that the photo is probably of a very thin model with fab high cheekbones, not quite the same as me. I then spend ages seating in the seat with tea, coffee, water sometimes a biccy as well, watching as the scissors snap and my locks fall to the ground. The finished result is never what I had imagined, back combing and the entire contents of a huge hairspray, I get home as quickly as possible, hoping I won’t see anyone I know.

Manage to get home, using an umbrella is quite successful even it isn’t raining.

Straight upstairs, wash it and blow dry it, bit of this and a bit of that. Mm, that looks a bit more like me.

But, the question still remains, long or short?
