Age UK’s Itea and biscuits week provides the opportunity for people in later life to get a taste of the benefits that digital technologies such as computers and the internet, mobile phone and digital cameras can really offer.
The next itea and biscuits week will take place 19 – 25 September 2011.
The week will see hundreds of local, friendly hands on taster events being run to help your friends develop the skills, confidence and most importantly, interest in technology and the internet over a cup of tea. With local event holders signposting participants to ongoing internet courses in their area delivered by Age UK’s and their national and regional partners, the campaign will help people to take those first key vital steps on their digital journey.
